A fun and delicious way to eat those superfood veggies without hiding them in your napkin ... we see you!


Socca Green Veggie Pizza

Makes 1-2 pizza’s

  • 1 recipe of Socca

  • 6 tbsp Pizza Sauce (We like to use plain tomato paste!)

  • 4 tbsp Pesto Sauce (optional)

  • 1 cup Kale Coarsely Chopped

  • ¾ cup Onion Sliced

  • ½ cup Asparagus Cut in 1-inch Pieces

  • 2 Portobello Mushrooms; Stemmed, Cut in Half, and Sliced

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil

  • Salt

  • Pepper

Socca is a delicious and naturally gluten free flatbread.  It is traditionally made with chickpea flour and can be adapted to suit as a pizza crust, dipping flatbread for curries and soups (naan), pancakes, and much more!  It’s delicious when made “crispy” or “soft” to suit your dish.

What is the perfect, most decadent, and delicious dessert to make for Easter?  Carrot cake!  This gluten free cake is moist and can be the perfect dish for your Easter/Spring gatherings.

Luckily, Almond and Cashew milk are ultra popular right now so I can feed my obsession!  Not only are these tasty nut milks a great alternative to lactose but they also boast a healthy dose of vitamins and nutrients (Vitamin E, Magnesium, Selenium, Manganese to name a few).  It's also a great alternative for those trying to reduce cholesterol and any risks of heart disease.


Be careful; however, when you are purchasing store bought nut milks as they can sometimes contain fillers or thickeners.  It is very easy to make homemade nut milk...
